SLEEPY HOLLOW WAGON RIDES
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow comes to Soldier Hollow! Enjoy an authentic horsedrawn wagon ride through the woods of Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah as you listen to a colorful narration of Washington Irving's original short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Be careful as the woods are rumored to be haunted and frequented by the apparition of the Headless Horseman! This family friendly, all ages event includes a pumpkin patch and refreshments on site!
PUMPKIN FESTIVAL WITH THE HEBER VALLEY RAILROAD
Everyone will enjoy the annual Pumpkin Festival trains. Your ticket includes a short 40 minute train ride where you will be entertained on board by costumed entertainers (witches, mummies and even Dracula)! You’ll also get to sample a pumpkin cookie. At the depot you can take a trip through the (family friendly) haunted car, and then get a Halloween sticker. And of course you also get to select a pumpkin from the Pumpkin Patch and take it home with you! Additional food and snacks will be available for purchase at the depot.

HEBER VALLEY WESTERN MUSIC AND COWBOY POETRY
Heber City hosts one of the nation’s largest Cowboy Poetry gatherings, the Heber Valley Western Music and Cowboy Poetry Gathering. Performers from all over the US and Canada travel to Utah to perform in front of audiences that embrace the Western culture. Musician entertainers such as the Bar J Wranglers, Michael Martin Murphey and Dave Stamey sing songs of the old cowboy. Country music and bluegrass sounds find their way into the Gathering with performances from Suzy Bogguss and Billy Dean. New to the Gathering is the winner of the NBC hit TV show, The Sing-Off, vocal band Home Free.
Cowboy Poets tell tales of the Western life through rhythm and rhyme, they will make you laugh and make you cry, and in the end you'll be forever grateful for the old cowboy tales. Heber Valley’s Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Buckaroo Fair includes western booths with arts, crafts and cowboy gear, mountain man camp, cowboy church and nonstop cowboy poetry and entertainment.
