Our
Heber Valley is amazing, have you noticed that? I mean, we all know it’s beautiful, what with the mountains
and the lakes and the amazing views.
But all that beauty aside, we have a whole lot to offer in our people
and our local businesses, and we thought it only proper to spend a little time
shining a light on some gems of the Heber Valley. So without further ado, and in honor of Valentines Day this
month, we would like to highlight The Blue Boar Inn in Midway. And while we’re at it, let’s give away

The
Blue Boar Inn has been a fixture of the Heber Valley for nearly 20 years, and
walking into it's lobby is like trading places with 16th century European
royalty. The inn is full of
amazingly authentic touches, like the stag antler chandeliers:

the 1300s and 1400s and were actually used in battle!):

the hand-carved panels on the guest room doors that were imported from an old hunting

pub), which are called Lusterweibchen (loose-ter-vibe-shun) and are actually
from the 16
th century :
